Meghan Hall

Coordinator of Math & Science

Meghan Hall returned to the Math and Science Department in January of 2022. She brings 20 years of experience to our department. She first began her career at W.H. Rhodes Elementary School where she served 13 years as a 1st, 2nd, and 5th grade teacher, a Math Academic Specialist, and an Interventionist.  She then became the Elementary Math TSA for a year, working alongside Jeff Baugus, before being named Assistant Principal at East Milton Elementary School. She spent three and half years at East Milton Elementary where she was named Elementary School assistant principal of the year. Meghan is a product of the Santa Rosa County School District herself.  She was born and raised in Milton, FL, and prides herself on giving back to her community.  She is excited to be serving in this role and she is looking forward to working alongside her team of educators, as well as with the outstanding Educators and Administrators in Santa Rosa County.

Secretary for Math & Science

Tracie Mitchell has been with the Santa Rosa School District since Feb 2022 after settling in Milton, FL with her retired Air Force husband and family. She has lived overseas for 11 years in England and Japan, serving in her local military and school communities. Tracie has a wide variety of secretarial skills to offer to the Math & Science Department.

Erin Dozier

Elementary Math Specialist

After 18 years of teaching in six states and all grades K-5, Erin joined the Math & Science Department as your K-5 Math Specialist in June 2022.  Through her years of experience she was honored as Quail Valley’s Teacher of the Year, Santa Rosa District’s Math Teacher of the year and recently featured with FSU to tell her CGI story!

She is excited to be in this role and is here for all things Math!  Contact her for professional development online & in person, classroom visits to model problem solving, small group instruction, math games or problem strings, and schedule her for school PD or to sit in data chats or MTSS.  She is always happy to help!

Katie Stein

Secondary Math Specialist

Katie has over 17 years of experience in the education field within the secondary, elementary, and early education settings.  She held various roles within these settings, which include Education & Disabilities Specialist, Mentor Coach, Interventionist, and Teacher.  Her experience outside of the education field consists of accountant, bookkeeper, and tax preparer.

Please reach out to her for support in your classroom, implementation of the new State Math Standards, implementation of the curriculum, and mathematics in-service opportunities.

Tiffany Climer

Science Specialist

Tiffany joined the Math and Science Department as the Science Specialist in April of 2023. She has over 11 years of experience in the education field. She has held various positions within the world of education. She has taught a variety of grades, K-8. She has served as a K-6 interventionist, Instructional Coach of a 5-8 intermediate school, and worked as an Educational Consultant doing work with District Outreach Coordinators in Indiana, and assisting school districts in implementing and evaluating their current practices with RTI before relocating with her family to Milton, FL.

She is very eager to serve teachers in a different capacity to help all students work to their fullest potential. Let Tiffany know how she can best support you in your classroom. She can provide a variety of supports – instructional planning, data analysis, classroom observations, etc. She is here to help meet your classroom needs in whatever capacity is needed.

Charlene Mauro

Director Navarre Beach Marine Science Station (TSA)

Charlene Mauro is the Director of the Navarre Beach Marine Science Station. Through Pensacola State College, she teaches Marine Biology and Oceanography to area dual enrollment students who in turn educate young children that attend programs on site. In addition to serving as the Director of the Navarre Beach Marine Science Station, she serves as the first ever Science Specialist for the Santa Rosa County School District. Mrs. Mauro has successfully written grants to completely transform a vacant ranger station into a fully functional science field station.  Knowing the immense positive impact that scientific research and teacher professional development has made on her career, Mrs. Mauro makes at least two professional presentations annually at local, state, and national levels. Past honors include EPA’s Presidential Award, National Marine Educator of the Year, Outstanding Florida High School Science Teacher of the Year, University of Florida Distinguished Educator, Gulf Guardian Award, University of West Florida Outstanding Young Alumnus, Sea World's Excellence in Environmental Education award and a finalist for Florida Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Mauro serves as a mentor for the UWF-Teach program and UWF STEM Scholars. She is an active member in professional and community groups including the Gulf Coast Ocean Observation Systems (GCOOS), National Marine Educators Association, National Science Teachers Association, and Rotary. By example, Charlene encourages her students to find their passion, seek opportunities, make a difference, and always continue to learn.

Marsha Schiller

Flight Adventure Deck Facilitator

Marsha has been a teacher for Santa Rosa County Schools for nearly 23 years. She has taught middle grades math, science, and health at Avalon Middle and Sims Middle. Currently, Marsha serves as Santa Rosa County’s Teacher on Special Assignment at the National Naval Aviation Museum’s Flight Adventure Deck (FAD) aboard NAS Pensacola. The FAD program, a partnership among Santa Rosa County Schools, Escambia County Schools and the National Naval Aviation Museum, brings middle grades students to the museum where they engage in hands-on activities, museum tours, data gathering, and flight simulations all while learning about the principles of flight.
