New Hire Information

Upon being offered a position within the Santa Rosa County School District, you will be required to complete new hire screening procedures in the Human Resources Office. This includes a Drug Screen Consent Form and an I-9 Employment Eligibility Form. You will also be given an informational packet with instructions on how to set up your Fingerprint/Background Check. You will be required to have your Social Security Card for fingerprinting. You will NOT be permitted to work until we receive clearances on both your Drug Screening and your Fingerprint/Background Check.

Please Note:** In order to complete your I-9 Form, you will need to bring with you to our office certain types of identification, including a picture ID and a document that proves your eligibility to work in the United States. Find a complete list of acceptable documents on page 8 of the I-9 Form here. You must have either one item from list A or one item from both list B and list C (as shown on pages 8-15).

Paraprofessional Testing
Paraprofessional testing is offered through Pensacola State College - Milton Campus
Appointment is required and walk-ins are not accepted.

The fee for the assessment is $55 and a $25 proctoring fee. Both fees are collected on the day of the testing.
