The Wallace Lake K-8 School Students Standing Outside

School Improvement Plan

At Wallace Lake K-8, we are committed to continuous growth and academic excellence. Our School Improvement Plan (SIP) outlines the goals, strategies, and actions we are taking to enhance student achievement and strengthen our school community.

Purpose of the SIP

The SIP serves as a roadmap for improving outcomes for all students. It is based on careful analysis of student data, staff input, and community feedback. The plan is reviewed and updated annually to ensure we are making progress and meeting the evolving needs of our learners.

Key Focus Areas

Our current School Improvement Plan includes goals in areas such as:

  • Raising academic achievement across all grade levels

  • Closing learning gaps

  • Supporting student well-being and engagement

  • Enhancing instructional practices

  • Strengthening family and community involvement

How It Is Developed

The SIP is developed collaboratively by school leadership, teachers, and our School Advisory Council (SAC), with support from district leaders. Feedback from parents and community members plays a vital role in shaping our priorities.
