Car Rider
For the safety and convenience of all students and families, please note the following guidelines for the car rider line:
Drop-off: The car rider line opens for drop-off at 6:50 a.m. Please do not drop students off before this time, as staff will not be available to supervise until the line officially opens.
Pick-up: The car rider line opens for pick-up at 1:00 p.m. Please do not line up ahead of time. If you arrive early, you will be asked to circle around and return at 1:00 p.m. to ensure the line flows smoothly.
School Dismissal: School dismissal is at 1:29 p.m. Please plan to pick up your child promptly.
Car Rider Pick-up Tags: Every car must display a Car Rider Pick-up Tag to ensure a smooth and safe pick-up process. Tags can be obtained through the front office.
Fast Passes: Fast Passes are available for bidding at the start of each quarter. Watch for school notifications about upcoming Fast Pass opportunities. These passes allow you to bypass the standard pick-up line for quicker service.
Lane Usage: Middle school parents/guardians should use the left lane (the lane furthest from the school), reserving the right (the lane closest to the school) for elementary students. If you have both an elementary and a middle school student, please use the left lane for drop-off and pick-up.
Traffic Flow: Arriving to School
All vehicles will enter the parking lot from Wallace Lake Rd (south side of the school) and proceed around to the front of the building in a single line. Staff will direct parents when to begin unloading and how many vehicles will unload at a time. Please ensure your student is ready to exit the vehicle when instructed by staff. Students will be expected to open their own car door and enter the building through the cafeteria. Upon arrival, students will either eat their breakfast or go directly to their classroom.
Traffic Flow: Leaving School
All vehicles will enter the parking lot from Wallace Lake Rd (south side of the school) and drive around to the front of the building. Dismissal will be in a double lane.
If you are only picking up K-5 students, please use the right lane (closest to the school).
If you are picking up both a K-5 student and a 6th-8th grade student, or if you are picking up a 6th-8th grade student only, please use the left lane (farthest from the building).
A marked loading zone will be in place, and staff will direct students when to load into their designated vehicles. Staff will also signal when it is safe for drivers to pull off and exit the parking lot.
