At Wallace Lake K-8, we take course recovery seriously. If a student has failed a course, there are opportunities in place to help them get back on track. Course recovery allows students to revisit essential content, strengthen their understanding, and improve their grades. It’s never too late to make progress, and taking action early can make a big difference in a student’s academic journey.

Edgenuity Courseware is an online resource provided to students who have received a failing grade in one or more classes for the quarter. Students begin with a pre-test to determine their specific needs, then work through a series of instructional modules, and complete a post-test at the end. To recover a credit, a student must earn at least 60%; however, the highest possible recovery grade is a 70%.
