6-8 (Middle School) Registration
Welcome to Middle School!
A Time of Discovery and Growth
Middle school is an exciting chapter filled with new opportunities, challenges, and experiences. At Wallace Lake K-8, we believe this is a time for students to explore who they are, build strong foundations, and develop the confidence they need to thrive—in school and beyond.
Registering for Middle School
Registering for middle school is an exciting time! Parents, please take time to review all course and elective options together with your child to ensure thoughtful selections that reflect their interests and goals.
While we do our best to accommodate each student’s schedule requests, final course placement is subject to:
Class size limits
Student performance on standardized tests
Availability and scheduling of courses on the master schedule
We appreciate your understanding and support as we work to create the best possible schedule for every student.
What Makes Middle School Special?
More Independence: Students learn to take greater responsibility for their learning and personal growth.
New Subjects & Electives: From art and music to technology and leadership, students get to explore interests and discover hidden talents.
Clubs & Activities: Middle school is a great time to get involved! Sports teams, student government, and clubs help students connect and belong.
Friendship & Community: Building strong peer relationships and learning how to work as a team are a big part of the journey.
Support Every Step of the Way: Our teachers, counselors, and staff are here to help students navigate the academic and social changes that come with this stage of life.
A Message to Our Middle Schoolers
You’re growing, learning, and becoming the person you're meant to be. Middle school may bring change, but it also brings exciting chances to try new things, meet new people, and step into your potential. We’re proud to walk beside you through this important time.
