About Ms. Canada

Hi! My name is Ms. Canada, and I am the Reading Intervention teacher this year! I have a Bachelor’s in Science Degree in Accounting from Auburn University. I was a CPA for several years before becoming a stay-at-home mom.  My teaching certificate is through the Alternative Certification Pathway at the University of West Florida. I am certified K-6 and have endorsements in Reading and ESOL. I have taught 3rd grade, 1st grade, and 2nd grade in both Florida and Virginia. I was a military spouse and as a result have lived in several states and overseas in Japan, so I have a definite connection with our military families. I have three grown children, 2 live in different states and 1 in another country. I enjoy reading and traveling. A fun fact about me is I have traveled to over 30 countries at this point!
