🌙 Phases of the Moon... with Oreos! 🍪✨

Ms. Watson’s class had a blast learning about the phases of the moon in a fun, hands-on way! 🌕🌗🌑🌘

Using Oreo cookies, students recreated all 8 moon phases by carefully shaping the filling to match each phase — from the New Moon to the Waning Crescent! Not only was it a creative activity, but a delicious one too! 😋🌌

Way to go, young astronomers! 🚀

🍎🐿️ Mrs. Esneul's PreK Class Update! 🐿️🍎

Our amazing SLPA, Ms. Belle, brought storytime to life during speech therapy today! ❤️ She read the adorable book "Apple Trouble" to our kiddos — and it was a hit!

To make it even more fun and interactive, she used a cuddly hedgehog friend with stick-on foods to help act out the story. The students loved helping the hedgehog get "unstuck" and practiced so many great speech and language skills along the way!

We’re so grateful for Ms. Belle and her creativity! 🌟📚🗣️

🎉🔬 Mrs. Summerlin’s 1st Grade Class became SCIENTISTS today! 👩‍🔬👨‍🔬

Our young investigators put their observation skills to the test by exploring the world around them using all 5 senses! 👀👃👂👅🖐️

Using POPCORN 🍿 as our subject, we described what we could:

👂 Hear – the popping sound and crunchy bites!

👃 Smell – that warm, buttery goodness!

🖐️ Touch – from hard kernels to soft, fluffy popcorn.

👀 See – the amazing transformation right before our eyes!

👅 Taste – the favorite part… YUM!

Science was delicious today, and our 1st graders LOVED every minute of it! 🧠✨

🛠️✨ Mrs. Joy’s 2nd grade class has been hard at work sharpening their engineering skills this past week!

Through a fun and hands-on building activity, students collaborated to design and construct bridges — testing their creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. 🌉💡

It’s amazing to see young minds working together, learning through play, and building confidence one bridge at a time. Great job, engineers of the future! 👏🧠🚀

📚✨ Learning is in full swing in Mrs. Nall's classroom!

Our Kindergarten friends are building strong number sense by using counting blocks to practice 1-to-1 correspondence—one block for every number as they learn to count with meaning! 🧱🔢

Meanwhile, our 2nd graders are sharpening their math minds by comparing numbers using greater than and less than symbols — and tackling some random addition facts to boost fluency! ➕🐊

It's all happening in our K-2 Access class where every student is growing at their own pace and celebrating every step! 💪

🎉🥚 Egg-cellent Science in Action! 🥚🎉

Mrs. Samms' 4th grade class put their engineering skills to the test with an exciting Egg Drop Investigation! 🏗️💡

Students designed creative contraptions to protect their fragile eggs from a high fall — and the results were smashing (in the best way possible)! 💥

Way to go, future scientists and engineers! 🚀👏

📚 Today in Mrs. Terry's class, students had a blast learning about Author's Purpose with a fun game of Four Corners!

Working in teams, they put their persuasive writing skills to the test by trying to convince Mrs. Terry why the class should get a pet. 🐾✍️

We love seeing learning come to life through creativity, teamwork, and a little friendly competition!

We now have a custom-made clothes hanger to help keep lost items neat, visible, and easy to reclaim! 🙌

We’d love to keep it empty — and YOU can help make that happen.
👉 Please label EVERYTHING your student brings to school — jackets, water bottles, lunch boxes, even hats!

If it comes to school, put their name on it!
Let’s work together to keep our Lost & Found looking empty and awesome for as long as possible!
