PRE Library Information

Daily Library Hours: 6:50am - 1:30pm

The mission of our library is to help each student excel and achieve maximum potential by creating a 21st century learning environment, fostering a love of reading, and promoting the effective use of information and technology.

• Accelerated Reader - Our reading incentive program for grades K-5. Students who meet their reading goals get to attend quarterly parties in the library.

• Destiny Link (below) - Browse our library collection, help you child place a hold, or read e-books!

• Library Media Committee - Have a specific title suggestion for addition into our school library? Submit a book request on this page. Our Library Advisory Committee will review titles at our monthly meetings.

­Late Book Fees:

·        There are no fees for books turned in late during the same school year.

·        Books not returned in the same school year are considered lost.

·        There is no refund for books found after the school year ends.

Lost/Damaged Book Fines:

·        Books are considered damaged if:

o   They are damaged from misuse or neglect.

o   They get wet or damp in any way (even if they are dried out!)

o   They get blood or other bodily fluids on them (even if they are cleaned!)

·        The replacement cost for lost or damaged books is based on the cost of that item, but ranges from $5-$15.

·        Replacement books are not accepted in lieu of fines.

·        Students will be limited to 1 book checked out and will be required to keep books at school until lost or damaged books are paid for.
