Ms. Lauren Goodin

Assistant Principal

I am Lauren Goodin, and I have been the assistant principal at West Navarre Primary since February 2021. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with you and your children in creating a safe, warm, and inclusive learning environment. I am dedicated to fostering a love for learning in your children and creating a strong foundation for their future success, both academically and personally.

A little bit about me - I'm in the 5th generation of my family to grow up in the Navarre area. As a product of Navarre High School and having attended West Navarre Primary myself, I feel a deep connection to this school. (Fun fact- Coach and Mrs. Savage were my PE teachers as a kid!) Before becoming an assistant principal, I taught 3rd and 4th grade at Holley-Navarre Intermediate. Additionally, I have experience as an academic intervention specialist focused on intensive literacy intervention. Prior to becoming a teacher, I worked in digital marketing, public relations, and legislative affairs in Tallahassee.

Outside of school, I enjoy reading, attending Florida State football games, traveling, and spending time at the beach.

I am excited to collaborate with all families and community members to make West Navarre Primary the best it can be. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns. Together, we will ensure a positive and enriching educational experience for all our students.
