Meet Our Coaching Crew :

Coach Jordan has been a teacher for 18 years, all of which have been as a PE Teacher. Coach Langham has been teaching for 13 years, and 8 of those have been as a PE Teacher. Coach Cone, who has been an adaptive PE teacher for almost 20 years, does inclusion-style PE with some of our students. All of the coaches enjoy sports and outdoor activities.

A peep into JES P.E. -

Some of the lessons that we teach at PE are throwing and catching, kicking, balancing, jump ropes, golf, basketball, along with numerous other games and activities that incorporate those skills. Students also build up to run a mile each week. The EZ Scan program allows us to track students' laps, miles, and times throughout the year. Toe Tokens are rewarded to students that complete different running milestones. Students are also given other opportunities to run extra laps.

Reminders!

Please have your child wear athletic shoes to PE so that they are able to participate in our lessons. If a student is not wearing athletic shoes, they will walk the track so that they are still able to participate in a physical activity. Students are also encouraged to bring a water bottle to PE. Please make sure that they do not bring any other drinks to PE other than water.
