Gulf Breeze Elementary School

Students lined up by the dozens this week to see the GBE chicks! Susan Pond, GBE Art Teacher, shared the culminating event in her Embryology study with the hatching of chicks, just in time for Easter. "Many students were able to see the chick(s) actually come out of the eggs," stated Pond, after monitoring their progress over the past days. She also incorporated chick artwork inspired by the activity. We appreciate Mrs. Pond, and admire how she has merged a love for Science and Art at GBE.
