Good afternoon, Bulldog families, Please review the attached parent newsletter for this weeks events. We have also included information about House-A-Palooza on Wednesday. Students must have a permission slip and waiver on file to participate in this fun event. As a reminder, there is no school on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day. Good evening, Bulldog families, Please see the graphics below that provide updates on the Book Fair, Kindergarten Sneak Peek, and Beach Bash. We have a great opportunity for families to attend the Book Fair tomorrow as a family. Also, if your child forgot their money on their assigned day, do not fret, they can still bring in money to purchase for the rest of the week. Family Night entrance will be located at the bus ramp. Kindergarten Sneak Peek is tomorrow evening from 5:00-6:00 PM and is for students who will be entering Kindergarten in the fall. We hope to see our incoming Kindergarten bulldogs at the event. Entrance will be at the front door of the building. Unfortunately the weather is not cooperating this week for the Beach Bash so we are postponing the event to next Friday. Please note that the event will go next Friday, May 15th, regardless of the weather. If we have inclement weather next week, we will have fun and exciting indoor activities. Title One Resources are available at the front office. The Title One Notebook includes: Bagdad SPAR, Right to Know Letter, Principal Attestation, Certification of Compliance, the School Improvement Plan, Parent and Family Engagement Plan, and more!

We also have a Title One Parent Corner right inside the office hallways that has the following items: Code of Conduct and Behavior toolbox, resources from the Sheriff's Department, lunch account information, and more. We even have education games and books that can be checked out by parents to utilize with their child.

Please ensure that your students are getting a good night's rest in preparation for testing. We greatly look forward to seeing all of our students growth. Good afternoon, The Beach Bash that was scheduled for tomorrow has been rescheduled due to the forecasted 90% chance of rain. It has now been rescheduled for next Friday, May 8th. 🙂

Beach Bash - There are a limited number of spots left for the Beach Bash. Please make sure your students have sent their payment in and turned in their permission slip. Students must have a Beach Bash permission slip in file to participate. If the event gets rained out, the make-up date will be the following Friday, May 8th.

Book Fair - Our Book Fair supplies have arrived and will start next week! There will be a family night on May 7th from 4:00 - 6:00 PM. This is a great time to stock up on books for summer reading.

We hope everyone has had a WONDERFUL weekend! We want to send a special shout out to our students who competed last week in Battle of the Books, 4-H Public Speaking Competition, and the District Math Competition. Our students represented Bagdad beautifully and we are so proud of them!

This week continues with PM3 testing for 1st and 2nd grade. We also have a Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast and Bulldog Bites! Please see the graphics below for additional details on those.

The National Competition for Prodigy begins on May 1st and our school has the opportunity to win up to $50,000 dollars that can be used for STEAM school-wide!

Continue to remind your students to work hard each and every day and to "show what they know" as we complete our PM3 testing! Let's make it a great week, Bulldogs!

We just wanted to clarify the Military Kids Breakfast tomorrow morning. We will be celebrating our students that are military connected with a waffle breakfast. Students must be enrolled in MFLAC to participate. We love our military families, but wanted to clarify that this breakfast will be for students only. We apologize if there was any confusion on this.
