To foster a positive behavior support system and build a sense of community among our students, we have created five communities at our school.

Each student belongs to one community for their time here at WNIS.

Throughout the year, we focus on character education by creating service-minded events for our students and communities.

PBIS MODEL CLASSROOMS and/or NAVIGATOR LUNCH TABLE WINNERS

Students are recognized by earning Navigator Bucks when a student displays virtues of any of the five communities.

During the school year, teachers recognize a student for Student of the Week. This particular child is invited to be a guest on ITV where our admins read direct quotes from the teacher of how this child has displayed outstanding Community traits.
