Hi, my name is Christy Baggett, and I am the principal at Chumuckla Elementary School. I am a seasoned educator with over 20 years of dedicated service in Santa Rosa County. Throughout my career, I have held various key roles in grades K-8th, including teaching positions at Pea Ridge Elementary and Jay Elementary, as well as serving as Dean at Avalon Middle School. I joined Chumuckla as the assistant principal 10 years ago, and for the last three years, I have proudly served as Principal at Chumuckla Elementary.

In my role, I work tirelessly to cultivate a nurturing, loving, and inspiring educational environment. I am deeply passionate about children and education, and I am devoted to building positive, supportive relationships. My focus extends to empowering both students and teachers to reach their full potential. Additionally, I believe in the importance of growing our teaching staff and supporting our community, ensuring that we provide the best possible educational experience for all.

My name is Laura Looze, and I am the Assistant Principal of Chumuckla Elementary School. I am a proud alumna of Santa Rosa County District Schools. I began my educational career in 2012 and have held various teaching roles over the last 13 years, including 3rd grade, Kindergarten, 4th grade, ESE inclusion, and Academic Intervention Specialist. I proudly joined the Chumuckla Elementary family five years ago, and for the last three years, I have had the privilege of serving as the Assistant Principal. I am deeply passionate about students, education, and creating a fun and safe learning environment for all.
