The GED Test Prep classes are designed to prepare students to pass the High School Equivalency Test (GED test). Once enrolled in the classes the student will take a pre-GED practice test. Results from this test will be used to create in individualized program of study that will help ensure success when taking the GED exam.

ENROLLMENT PROCEDURES

1. Call Santa Rosa Adult School and schedule to take the CASAS test. The CASAS is a "pre-test" that will show us any areas that you need to remediate so we can appropriately place you in classes.

2. After you complete the CASAS, the SRAS counselor (or your assigned teacher, once you begin class) will review your scores with you.

3. Fill out registration paperwork in our office immediately after you finish the CASAS, or as soon as possible.

4. Once our office contacts you that your application has been processed, return at your earliest convenience to pay the $30.00 tuition fee.

5. Once your tuition is paid, you may begin class.

6. Attend class, work hard, and prepare to take your GED!*
